Chris Parker has positioned hundreds of successful developments during his 20 years with Parker Associates. In addition to conducting research and analysis, he served as company administrator. Chris is also a licensed Florida REALTOR and manages direct marketing and sales of real estate in Florida through Barclay's Real Estate Group which is based in Fort Myers, Florida. His education spanned three continents in Egypt, England and Florida, after which he coordinated hotel accounting and professional golf tournaments prior to joining his father and brothers in real estate analysis and marketing. Chris Parker joined Parker Associates in 1990 and became a Vice President and partner in the firm in 1995. Under the tutelage of Dr. David F. Parker, Chris has emerged as an innovator and leader in advanced real estate market research and marketing and has mastered and augmented methodological techniques proven to aid clients in making informed real estate development, planning and marketing decisions. Since joining Parker Associates, Chris has participated in, directed, and completed nearly 500 studies for private and public entities including land developers, landowners, residential and commercial builders, financial institutions, city and state government agencies and the U.S. Department of the Navy.
Chris' experience ranges from single and multi-family residential market studies, large land marketing and development feasibility analysis, to DRI and HUD application research and reporting, and strategic development and marketing planning. Additionally, Chris has specialized in defining consumer trends, characteristics and preferences through a range of scientific survey mediums.
Chris has written several articles on consumer research methodology, development and marketing and sales issues.
Before joining Parker Associates, Chris held management positions with Marriott Corporation and with Arvida Corporation at Sawgrass, as well as was a corporate executive with the Tournament Players Association professional golf tour during the late 1980s. Chris is a member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders and currently is working towards completion of his MIRM designation (Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing) as well as a licensed REALTOR in Florida Real Estate.
